Lists of Essences by
Botanical and Common Names
It is most reliable
to identify a plant by its botanical name, and not its common name
(sometimes there are multiple common names). There are several existent systems
of botanical nomenclature which may sometimes be revised by botanists. Most
of the difference between systems is at the level of plant families and orders,
but there may be disagreement about genera and species names as well.
FES tries to maintain the most up-to-date nomenclature for the flower essences
it produces, though you may notice discrepancies in our literature before it
is updated.
The following listings include the FES Quintessential (North American) complete professional and research essences, and the Healing Herbs (Bach) flower essences.
